The lime juice was good, but the horchata was only okay. This is kind of the definition of hole in the wall, so don’t expect much from the location, but we loved the food and service. If you are looking for soft jazz and linen tablecloths, keep looking - this is The situation where you're going to get extremely delicious food at a fair price, served simply. We had the special of the day - beef stew, along with stewed chicken and beans and rice. The two entrees stuffed the three of us to the gills and absolutely, without question - set the bar for what Beliezian food is all about! The beef stew had a absolutely perfectly tender and surprisingly large oxtail, along with carrots, potatoes cabbage and okra. the broth was thin but PACKED with flavor, and perfectly seasoned. Served with fresh tortillas and lime and for well under $20bz - completely unreal. The stew chicken and rice and beans is Briana's swan song - the chicken was FALL OFF THE BONE tender and super juicy, perfectly seasoned and the best I've had on or off the island - it's better than mine, and that's saying something! the rice and beans were not just plate filler, they were perfectly prepared, nice loft, seasoning on point - clearly made to impress a local crowd - each whose mother makes it best (if they are asked on the record lol). Pair your meal with a few ice cold sodas and go back home with a story about the best meal of your vacation - this review is Not for the locals - they all know what's the best already and don't need to check with Google!! ”
